Hello! I'm Christopher Dankwah, a versatile Project Management professional with a profound commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Project Management from Northeastern University and have a strong background in Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation. I bring a unique blend of skills to drive projects forward while fostering positive change in our ecosystems.

At A Rocha Ghana, I spearheaded community engagement initiatives, nurtured relationships with stakeholders, and actively contributed to securing donor funding through strategic grant writing. My expertise extends to biodiversity assessment, donor reporting, and creative advocacy, bolstered by proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office 365, R Software, and QGIS.

I've led cross-functional teams in collecting vital biodiversity data across Ghana, utilizing cutting-edge technologies like drone mapping and acoustic recorders to deepen our understanding of ecosystems. Additionally, my volunteer work with Heritage and Culture for Development reflects my dedication to holistic conservation efforts, where I orchestrated impactful projects to restore degraded landscapes and empower local communities.

Worked with A Rocha Ghana as the community Liaison Officer for over 5 years where:

Created and managed relationships with over 20 local and international donors, formulated land management policies, conservation, and environmental planning in forest landscapes across Ghana

• Wrote and disseminated over 20 medium to large-scale technical and financial project reports for ARG’s partners

• Developed and planned project proposals, contributing to raising donor funds for projects through prolific grant-writing initiatives and targets

• Designed and introduced species monitoring instruments for routine data collection and population assessments.

I hold a bachelor’s in Natural Resources Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and currently pursuing an MSc. In Project Management at the Northeastern University College of Professional Studies in Boston. I am yet to defend my master’s thesis for my MSc. in Ecology from the University of Bremen in Germany.
