Chris Jones

CELTA-certified college graduate with 5+ years of experience in leadership and self-starting positions. I'm familiar with formatting lesson plans, managing a classroom, and giving 1-on-1 instruction, being in context of boxing lessons. I have also worked extensively in the customer service and hospitality sector, making my people skills well refined.

I have 8 years of experience in the customer service and hospitality field which has developed my people skills. I also have 5+ years experience in leadership positions from having started my own business, founding and running the boxing club at the University of Houston, and working with political entities in voter registration, campaign organizing, and public affairs. I also have a few years of experience as a boxing coach, formatting lesson plans and instruction for both large classes and 1-on-1 sessions.

I received my CELTA certificate from Oxford TEFL in December of 2022. Prior to that, I graduated from the University of Houston in August of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in political science.
