Program and Operations Associate (Jan 2023 – Current)

Clinton Health Access Initiative – Global Sexual and Reproductive Health Team 

  • Manage team operations and team systems for a 20-person, globally dispersed team in support of reproductive health programs.  
  • Manage logistics and content coordination for internal and external events, in remote, hybrid, and in-person settings. Events include knowledge sharing webinars, internal strategic planning meetings, team retreats, reproductive health summits, skills-building sessions, and program learning opportunities. 
  • Manage the team’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) journey by working with leadership to refine and articulate the DEI vision, scheduling and leading DEI sessions, and aligning DEI plans to broader organizational DEI goals. 
  • Co-lead a 200-member employee resource group (ERG) focused on Gender Equity. Activities include grassroots community building, advocacy through informal and formal channels, setting annual work plans, managing volunteers, and generating awareness in a remote setting.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with team members, functional teams at the organizational level, and external partners. 
  • Provide routine communication to the team and leverage various channels to engage cross-functional partners and program country teams. 
  • Create and refine internal processes and practices, including standardizing interviewing and onboarding procedures, strengthening professional development resources, collecting team feedback, developing team policies, and creating organizational flow charts and SOPs.

Senior Program Coordinator (Jan 2021 – Dec 2022) 

Clinton Health Access Initiative – Global Sexual and Reproductive Health Team 

  • Provided administrative and organizational support to a remote global health team of 10 people, in support of the overall vision goals of the team.
  • Proactively anticipated the needs of a remote team, including weekly planning with program leaders, resolving organizational conflicts, optimizing workflows and creating efficiencies.
  • Provided logistical support for remote and in-person events, such as meetings and conventions, which included agenda planning, coordinating arrangements for participants, preparing and disseminating materials, and providing on-site logistical support.
  • Proactive engagement in supporting a healthy workplace culture and started the team’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) journey by creating a learning environment, increasing team skill building, creating greater transparency into workplace decisions and operational policies.
  • Strengthened internal knowledge management systems by creating a resource library, restructuring and standardizing team communication platforms, improving file sharing and saving practices, and maintaining institutional knowledge,
  • Co-led internal employee resource group (ERG) called the Gender Equity Network. Day-to-day activities included raising organizational awareness, community-building in a remote setting, creating learning opportunities, and fostering dialogue across teams and cultures. 
  • Provided support to program managers with desk research, literature reviews, creating engaging presentations, editing reports and proposals, and leading webinars.
