About Charis Ch.:

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University (my area is Computer Science although technically I am an Electrical Engineering student), finishing up. In the past, I have worked in the software industry for a big tech company (one of the top 5 worldwide). After many years (and a double promotion), I quit my job to focus on my Ph.D. but now I am almost done (have to finish my dissertation).

Experience

I have worked in a startup and then for many years for a bog software company in the Bay area (one of the top 5) where I got promoted. I quit my job in 2020 to focus on my Ph.D.

Education

I got my MS degree from Stanford a long time ago. Now I am about to complete my Ph.D. studies (again at Stanford University).
