Chan Nelson

Right now I own and operate a restaurant.  I have employed over 50 + people over the last 5 years. I am a problem solver, I can communicate effectively and efficiently.  I am looking to do something more stable. I have worked with kids and adults of all ages. I graduated from Hanover College with a degree in Sociology.  I was formerly a High School Football Coach, an Elementary teacher, and now a Restaurant owner. I can take directions as well as give them and im just looking to be a part of the team. 

After graduation, I was a Team Lead at Lowes and gradually elevated to the department manager of flooring and the paint department. 

Leaving there I became a teacher for 7yrs with JCPS where I taught 4th grade math and coached HS football. 

After 7 yrs I decided to work for myself and I ran a food truck for 6 years and that landed me where I am today as I operate and run a brick and mortar going on 5 yrs.

I graduated from Hanover College with a degree in Sociology in 2008.
