I am energetic and seasoned Florida Licensed Optician known for tackling complex challenges with confidence and skill. Committed to enhancing patient satisfaction through expert care. I have been licensed since 1988. I am passionate about patient care. 

Licensed Optician and Optical Manager for Atlantic Eye Institute since May of 1999. My professional experience includes the following:

* Manage eight staff members across four locations including scheduling, training, and performance evaluating. 
* Provide expertise to ensure optimal patient outcomes even with challenging situations.
* Cultivate strong patient relationships through personalized service resulting in patient retention and loyalty.
* Utilize my extensive knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve situations effectively. This includes applying Fresnel prism, for simple and compound prisms.
* Utilize trial lenses and the patient’s prescription to determine the best lens design for the best outcome. 
* Utilize a manual lensometer to accurately read the power of lenses including prism. 
* Effectively multi-task to provide support to both patients and staff. 
* Exceed sales goals and quotas. 
* Receive exceptional feedback from upper management, doctors, and patients. 
* File vision claims for reimbursement. 
* Facilitated with the opening of new locations.

Acquired an Associate of Science Degree in Opticianry from Hillsborough Community College in 1988. I am a Florida Board Certified Optician. I am ABO and NCLE certified.
