Experience
Most recently I was heading crypto and FX trading, execution, liquidity, and Prime Broker relationships remotely for a team within a Hong Kong based hedge fund. Alongside my fully automated FX strategy, I worked on improving our digital coin trading workflow through internal automation as well as investigating and implementing new technology and liquidity for this evolving market. I am a self-starter who takes initiative, values impact over effort, and drives performance within my team.
My entire career has been in the financial markets, primarily in the areas of foreign exchange, futures/commodities, and alternative investments with an emphasis on dealing / market making, risk mitigation / hedging, execution, systematic trading, and liquidity management. During this time, I have traded futures, options, digital coins and spot FX for banks, retail FX brokers, global macro hedge funds and CTAs. While at Bank of America and Prudential I managed global FX option dealing books, heading the Asian desk at Prudential. Some of my early training came working within Commodities Corporation and separately as the head execution trader for Dr. Sanford Grossman at his QFS fund.
Later I established my own firm promoting the Kammas outsourced dealing desk. I created our hedging and market making process and directed our dealing team. From this vehicle we offered around the clock dealing, hedging, execution, risk, and liquidity management services primarily to retail FX brokers focusing on FX spot, options and CFD markets. Our monthly volumes grew to an average of over $52 billion notional during our peak years, with our best months exceeding $100 billion. Under my management we earned over $156 million in net trading revenue for our clients through my active dealing and risk management service.
My many years in capital markets, with a concentration in FX, holding leadership positions covering market-making, hedging, sales, execution, proprietary trading, risk, and liquidity management have provided me with a comprehensive and pragmatic skill set. Throughout my career I have proudly added significant value, delivering tangible results to employers and clients.
