Candy-Marie Bickett

I’m a full-cycle grant strategist and technical writer with over a decade of experience advancing equity in health and human services. I specialize in pre- and post-award grants and contracts administration, with a focus on public sector and institutional funding, compliance, and workflow optimization.

In 2016, I founded CMB NP Consulting to support nonprofits navigating shifting funding policies and growing demands. Nearly a decade later, I continue to help organizations remain agile, aligned, and mission-driven—building internal systems, translating complex program goals into funder-aligned narratives, and ensuring compliance across the grant lifecycle.

As a former foster youth and first-generation college graduate, my lived experience navigating multiple systems of care informs my practice. I’m especially passionate about supporting equity-driven organizations in telling their stories with clarity and strength—grounded in data, informed by lived reality, and centered on dignity.
