Cameron Dalton

With almost 2 decades of nursing experience across Canada and the United States, I bring a deep understanding of patient care, healthcare systems, and clinical workflows to my role in health informatics. My nursing background, combined with a focus on leveraging data and technology to improve patient outcomes, allows me to bridge the gap between clinical practice and digital innovation. I’m passionate about optimizing healthcare delivery through data-driven solutions, EHR management, and user-centered system design to support both providers and patients. My goal is to create seamless, effective healthcare environments that enhance both care quality and operational efficiency.

Experience includes almost 20 years as a registered nurse across two different health systems (Canada and United States) in various settings ranging from inpatient nephrology, post anesthesia care unit, ambulatory float pool, and most recently, outpatient cardiology. As I continue my search for a career in informatics, I am presently an Epic super user and performing pilot studies in artificial intelligence note summarization, and a project team member for in-clinic workflow validations.
