I am an on-site senior-level Executive Assistant, Litigation Project Manager & Billing Coordinator with 20 years of proven right-hand proactive gatekeeper experience supporting lawfirm Managing Partners and their financial services clients as well as various practice group litigation Partners. I have an Associate’s Degree in Business Management & Corporate Accounting from Drake, which enables me to handle Client Billing from inception through collections because I know that we can't work for free and keep the firm afloat to afford to pay its employees! I possess all the requisite MS Office Suite / Word 365 / Windows 10, Google Docs, Concur Travel, Chrome River expense reports, Adobe pdf and redacting Pro and DocuSign, and use the usual office equipment to keep my Team working beyond IT or Mailroom hours. I am usually HR's go-to Assistant serving as a Secretarial Team Lead, as well as the Interim Assistant to Visiting Attorneys and Summer Associates, and new-hire Staff Mentor. I have both Aderant and Elite 3E billing experience with eBillingHub/BillBlast. I was taken across 3 lawfirms by the same group from Day Pitney LLP 2006-2011 to Pepper Hamilton LLP and into our Troutman Pepper LLP merger 2020-2021. Since leaving Troutman Pepper in 2021, I have been working contract on-site litigation support positions for which I was recruited through online sites directly by top AmLaw firms, at the reference of my former bosses, or re-hired by past HR to go help them at their new firms. I provide on-site support to attorneys while coordinating work with their remote Assistants and also providing bi-weekly Zoom return-to-work coaching with my enthusiastically positive team player attitude.
Experience
I ensure my Boss gets to where he/she needs to go on time and ready with all the necessary Word Processing paperwork, travel, and contact info to do their best for clients. I handle documents and bills from inception to conclusion by managing busy desks with a work prioritizing Daily To-Do and project tracker for deadline reminders.
