Brooke Lysen

I am a recent graduate with a marketing degree in business administration from Washinton State University. I have passion for the maintenance of and recreation in the outdoors. Additionally, I am passionate about finding solutions to Seattle's housing crisis. I spend much of my free time enjoying the arts, practicing yoga, and reading. I have an interest in furthering my involvement in these communities, particularly the yoga community. Yoga practice and the people I have met through it have been cornerstones for my personal development over the past couple years. 

I have over five years of experience in customer service, ranging across multiple industries. My calm, organized, and kind demeanor has allowed me to create personal relationships with customers, while also finding solutions that work for them. 

Nanny and Personal Tutor, 06/2022- present

• I took care of two girls; a pre-teen girl and a five-year old girl.
• I tutored a child with ADHD in her homework every day after school. I helped her to create new study and organizational habits. 
• I used skills in conflict management to de-escalate frustration from the children, particularly surrounding studying with the child with ADHD. 
• I managed schedules with school, after-school activities, doctor and dentist appointments, and household duties.
