Currently enrolled in a CDCA program, I have developed a strong foundation in counseling techniques, ethics, and substance use disorder education. My commitment to this field is deeply personal, as I have witnessed the impact of addiction within my own family and understand the importance of empathy, consistency, and support in the recovery journey. These experiences have shaped my approach and motivated me to help others find hope and healing.

I am eager to apply my knowledge and compassionate nature in a clinical setting, working alongside experienced professionals to support clients in achieving and maintaining sobriety. I am a fast learner, dependable, and genuinely care about making a positive impact in people’s lives.

I am a mother to 3 amazing little girls and also a pet mom to some amazing dogs  

• Assist with client intakes by gathering personal, medical, and substance use histories under supervision.

• Observe and co-facilitate group counseling sessions focused on relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and recovery tools.

• Support counselors in developing treatment plans by providing behavioral observations and client feedback.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in alignment with agency and state guidelines.

• Learn and apply core counseling techniques, motivational interviewing, and ethical standards through hands-on experience.

• Help connect clients with community support services such as 12-step meetings, sober housing, and job readiness programs.

• Demonstrate a compassionate, judgment-free approach in working with individuals in various stages of recovery.

I went to scioto county career technical center and earned my high school diploma along with my CDCA.
