Brian Weakliem

I am a current graduate student at Seton Hall University's School of Diplomacy and International Relations, my degree specializations are International Economics and Development and Foreign Policy Analysis. My research interests include post-conflict reconstruction, trade policy, security policy and relations within the Middle East and Asia. I previously worked as an administrative assistant with Provision Eyecare Center, and an assistant store manager at the largest Ace Hardware in Denver, Colorado. Personally, I would describe myself as an organized, detail oriented, quick learner with a passion for the field of economics and international relations. 

Previously I worked as an administrative assistant at Provision Eyecare Center where I was responsible for scheduling new appointments for three separate locations throughout the state of New Jersey. Additionally, I took the lead on coordination HIPPA protected information between patients, insurance providers, and doctors. I also stepped up to fill roles in the company's billing department as a result of changes in staffing. This role required me to work at our call center in Bergenfield, NJ and I would also work on-site at one of our three patient facing offices which required me to assist patients with the check in process and answer any questions they had.

I completed my bachelor's degree in international relations at Bethany College in 2019. In 2022, I began pursuing my master's degree at Seton Hall University's School of Diplomacy and International Relations with specializations in International Economics and Development and Foreign Policy Analysis. I am currently on track to graduate in May 2025.
