Proprietor - As owner/operator of this multi-unit gourmet food/delicatessen chain, built these stores and the Off-premise catering company from “ground-up.” Within 18 months of opening the first store, had opened three stores. The retail business and “off-premise” catering grew rapidly while quickly developing a prestigious catering client list. Sold off retail division to focus on the more profitable & manageable division.

formulated the best team of union management in NYC to spearhead this predominantly non-union organization to the levels of sales and excellence not seen before in our sector. Uncanny ability to reduce construction costs on residential projects through proper planning, purchasing and personnel. Built over $1B in new Non-Union Residential Construct ion in NYC.

Classic Caterers & Special Events Consultants - Bronx, New York            September 1996- November 2001

Proprietor – Partnering with “Event Concepts” of NYC, worked large-scale events with the top chefs in the world. Off-premise-catering operation, duties include event sales & orchestrating all functions from inception through completion. Organized a multitude of special events, including catering to NBC Sports, Fox Sports & Major League Baseball for three New York Yankee Post Season Series.

The New Jersey Meadowlands Aramark Venture                                             August 1993– September 1996

Director of Group Concessions: Working for the number one concessionaire in the world; responsible for 3 venues including Giants Stadium, The Racetrack and The Continental Airlines Arena (IZOD.) Supervised over 100 managers who had over 1500 employees under their tutelage; annual sales in excess of $40M. Simultaneously cut costs across the board by 18%, providing millions in excess cash to the bottom line.
