Brendan McCourt

I am a Photographer, Multimedia Designer, Video Producer, Editor and 2D Animator with 20 years of experience in creative marketing roles and a passion for both storytelling and efficiently conveying ideas. I have elevated many diverse brands by delivering high quality video, audio and graphics for clients across nearly every industry, including non-profit, entertainment, broadcast, sports, healthcare, legal, financial, science, education, gaming, technology hardware, software, B2B, entrepreneurs, and consumer products.

My career roles have included video production and multimedia services from start to finish including ideation, scripts, storyboards, shoots, footage editing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics and animation. I'm expert-level with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Prior to working in video, I was a Graphic Designer and then Multimedia Designer for print and digital ads, websites, web portals, apps, and interactive. For hundreds of videos over my career, I have either written the script, assembled the story from interviews, or decoded the complex topic to find a compelling and effective message.  

I have designed and built video production studios from the ground up and have helped some companies create their first videos or others to seamlessly revamp their approach to video while fixing poor presentation or implementing new templates and modern aesthetics into their branding.  

I have led teams of designers and video crews including technicians, on-camera talent and also fresh faces who were subject matter experts, executives or entrepreneurs with a message. 

B.S. Media Studies: Production Technology; Minor: Psychology (Radford University)

My degree essentially combined multimedia production with TV/Radio broadcast, journalism and advertising components.
