Brenda Castro

Hello! My name is Brenda Castro and looking forward to this opportunity and position. I am very nice and friendly. I am someone who likes to work with others and help coworkers and guest when needed. The same that when I am struggling, I can rely on someone to help me improve on what I am lacking. I am a college student at College of Charleston, currently a Junior. Anytime there is an issue I try my best for the issue to be fixed. I would love to have more experience in retail and sales and improve what I possibly lack on.

So far I am very consistent every time I apply to a job. To be honest I only had two jobs ever. The first one was Panera Bread at 16. I only worked there for a few months and once I turned 17, I got a job as a front desk receptionist at a Comfort Inn and Suites hotel. It may not be as close to a retail job, but I believe that some of the skills are implemented. I have dealt with many kinds of people, from a nice person to a very difficult or rude person. Those situations helped build my customer service and helped me gain patience and still treat them with respect. Also, I dealt with counting money and taking payments and dealing with the computer systems. I still currently work at the hotel, by the way I am almost 21. So, I've been working there for 3 or almost 4 years but unfortunately it is time for me to leave that job.  I would love to learn more about retail and see how much I have to learn. I would really appreciate this opportunity!

I have graduated from High School and now currently a junior student at College of Charleston. I am majoring Psychology and minoring in Crime/Law/ & Society!
