About Brandi Garcia:

Hi I'm Brandi. I currently work in the Criminal Justice field, but I have a passion for writing. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a specialization in Advertising and from Purdue Global in 2021 with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice. Prior to moving into the criminal justice field, I worked as a copywriter and professional marketing specialist for a mid-size communication company. I'm an aspiring novelist and I am currently working on my first book. I enjoy learning various skills in my free time. Right now, I am learning to master square dancing and have become a part of a small square dancing club. 

Experience

My professional experience has included various fields including radio marketing, operations, and working as a Case Manager in correctional institutions and then as a Probation Officer. My experience in these fields gives me great professional report writing skills, great communication skills, and knowledge of basic laws and rules.  These jobs have also given me the ability to communicate well with various types of people.
