Blake Wilcox

My name is Blake Wilcox and I am looking to work in Medical Finance in the Milwaukee area. I'm currently working as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones where I work with clients to understand their situation, goals, and risk tolerance, then create tailored financial plans that provide peace of mind and a personalized approach. aI was a Retail Store Manager with Vail Resorts where I was responsible for 25 employees, managing the finances of the store, and employed customer service on a daily basis. I was also Financial Analyst with AllianceBernstein Asset Management where I performed competitive analysis on the investment landscape and identified opportunities that enabled my firm to make strategic decisions. My father has been a physician for 28 years and my mother is a nurse, the medical field has always been interesting to me. I am a team oriented person and participated in collegiate athletics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I strive to put people around me in a position to succeed. I have extensive experience in SalesForce, MicroSoft Excel, and a variety of other software platforms. I believe I am a great fit for this role because of my continuous learning mindset and a strong desire to be successful. 

I have a variety of experience in Financial Services as a Financial Advisor, people management as a retail store manager, asset management as a financial analyst, and automation as an intern at an automation engineering firm. These experiences give me a diverse skillset and the ability to adapt to any environment.
