About Blain Hamel:

Blain Hamel I’m a Marketing student at Texas Tech University with a strong interest in sales. I’m driven by leadership, discipline, and consistently delivering results at a high level. Over the past two summers I’ve worked in sales development at Proper Roofing and Texas Premier Contractors, I worked in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment where I quickly emerged as a top performer. I consistently ranked among the highest producers on my team through strong activity volume, effective communication, and relentless work ethic. My results and consistency led to increased responsibility, including mentoring new teammates, setting daily standards, and helping drive overall team performance. I’m known for being one of the hardest workers on the team showing up early, staying disciplined, and holding myself and others accountable. By leading from the front, I helped raise expectations, improve morale, and contribute to stronger production across the group. This experience sharpened my ability to perform under pressure, communicate with confidence, and lead peers toward shared goals. Whether in the classroom or in the field, I bring energy, initiative, and a team-first mindset. I’m currently seeking 2026 internship opportunities in sales where I can contribute immediately, continue developing as a leader, and add value to high-performing organizations.

Experience

I have hands-on sales experience through door-to-door roofing sales, where I developed a strong work ethic, resilience, and comfort with high-volume prospecting and rejection. In addition to individual performance, I served as a leader within my team by setting activity standards, mentoring newer reps, and holding myself and others accountable to daily goals. This role required strong communication, discipline, and initiative in a competitive, high-pressure environment. Combined with my business and marketing coursework, these experiences prepared me to contribute, lead, and grow in a fast-paced software sales organization.

Education

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on Marketing at Texas Tech University. My coursework emphasizes consumer behavior, sales strategy, marketing analytics, and professional communication, providing a strong foundation in understanding buyer decision-making and value-based selling. In addition, I will be earning a Sales Certificate upon graduation, further strengthening my formal training in sales principles and applied selling techniques.
