About Billie Sprouse:

I have 10 years of experience in working with people with developmental disabilities.  Additionally, I teach art at a local art center, and have years a number of years of experience teaching clay (hand building), watercolor, and pastel. I enjoy teaching children and adults.  As well I have experience in buisness, and management.  I'm in progress of finishing my master's in leadership and biblical studies. I'm passionate about programs that benefit society and individuals.   

Experience

2021 - Current 

Instructor Goddard Center for the Visual and Performing Arts 

Teaching 6-week programs and summer camps.  I predominantly teach children but have taught adults.  I teach hand building, oil pastel, and multimedia. 

2014 – 2023

Habilitation and Vocational Training Sunshine Industries 

Teaching life skills to adults with developmental disabilities.  I have worked inside of the home, and in the work force teaching adults’ skills to help them achieve. I have worked with individuals with physical needs, chromosome disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and challenging behaviors. 

2017 – 2019 

 Kitchen Host First United Methodist Church, Ada Oklahoma 

Prepare and serve food creating a welcoming atmosphere for the Congregation and their guests. 

Education

I will complete a Master of Biblical Study and leadership at Asbury Theological Seminary in May 2025.

I have a Bachelor of Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
