About Benton Martin:
I've been a Federal Public Defender for eight years. I do trials, appeals, and habeas. I spent five years as a law clerk before that, working for the Seventh Circuit as a staff attorney, a magistrate judge, and Seventh Circuit Judge John Tinder. I serve as co-chair of the local Federal Bar Association Appellate Division, Vice Chair of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Amicus Committee, on the Defender Automation Working Group, and on the PACER User Group.
