About Bella Veale:

I’m a relationship-driven business development professional with hands-on experience owning the full sales process, from outbound outreach and marketing strategy to partnership negotiation, deal closing, and long-term account growth. While balancing full-time academics at UC Berkeley, I built and ran independent art exhibitions across California, working directly with galleries, artists, and small businesses to generate revenue through strategic partnerships and disciplined follow-up. I’ve led end-to-end outreach, developed partner pipelines from scratch, managed active accounts, and closed recurring business by focusing on trust, clarity, and mutual value.

I graduate in May and am excited to step into a full-time role starting in June where I can bring my energy, initiative, and people-first sales approach to a team that values growth, accountability, and long-term relationships. I’m especially drawn to roles in business development, partnerships, and consultative sales where ownership, learning, and impact go hand in hand.

Experience

I bring three years of hands-on experience in business development, outbound sales, partnerships, and operations across creative, event-based, and small-business environments. While balancing full-time academics, I independently built and executed end-to-end sales and growth strategies for large-scale art exhibitions and partner-led events across California, owning the full process from prospecting and marketing to negotiation, execution, and revenue tracking. I led partnerships with established galleries including Good Mother Gallery (Los Angeles) and Little Raven Gallery (San Francisco), working directly with gallery owners, artists, vendors, and local businesses. Across multiple event cycles, I managed outbound outreach, pricing and ticket sales, contract coordination, budgets, logistics, and post-event follow-up, generating $3,000+ in revenue per event with $1,000+ in single-night profit, along with repeat partnerships across cities.

In addition to running my own sales and partnership efforts, I’ve held supporting roles in event operations and coordination. At Berkeley, I worked as an Event Operations Assistant in a fast-paced environment, assisting with logistics, scheduling, and stakeholder communication. I also interned with Dazos and Time Machine, supporting business operations and sales-adjacent efforts including prospect research, outreach support, pipeline tracking, and internal coordination. Across all roles, my work has been self-directed and results-driven, with a consistent focus on pipeline management, relationship-building, CRM documentation, and converting outreach into long-term partnerships and repeat revenue.

Education

I am graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2026 and am excited to begin working full time in June. I am a double major in Psychology and Art Practice, with coursework focused on human behavior, communication, decision-making, and creative strategy and execution. My academic background complements my professional experience by strengthening how I approach creative problem-solving, relationship-building, and consultative work.
