Ava Stich

I am currently a sophomore at Clemson University as a marketing major and with brand communications minor! Here at Clemson University, I have been involved in Clemson Marketing Association, Women in Business, and Clemson University Student Government’s PR Committee, which has already given me so much insight on how to be a leader in the business world. Although a part time position now that I am at college, I work at Dewey’s Pizza as a server assistant and server. With over 3 years of experience in the restaurant industry, I have gained a lot of experience working with customer service and effective communication.

During and post-graduation, I hope to go into social media management on the creative side. I find content creation and analyzing trends very interesting and cannot wait to learn and grow in this field. Not only is it my goal to dive into the world of marketing as a career, but also to use my strong leadership and communication skills in order to work and succeed with an awesome company in any part of the country!

As a sophomore, I have had not had official professional experience in the marketing but have had many experiences to learn more. I have been to multiple marketing panels and discussions to connect with people and learn more about the world of marketing. Over the spring and summer, I worked with the social media lead at Jeff Ruby's as a volunteer to review their current social media pages, create mock pages, and then review ideas on how to make those pages reflect their company goals and connect to target markets. At Clemson University, I have been involved in various marketing clubs and associations which have given me the opportunity to hear speakers talk about their experiences and learn from other Clemson students into how to improve in this field. 

I am a sophomore at Clemson University with a major in marketing and minor in brand communications. I have a current 3.90/4.00 grade point average and have been on the Dean's and President's List my freshman year. Some classes that I have taken that have taught me more towards my major include Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Management, Entreprenurial Mindset, Corporation Finance, and Financial Accounting Concepts.
