Ava Granquist

I am a full-time student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, in anticipation of acquiring my B.S. in Business Administration, in May 2024 specializing in analytics. I have a keen eye for detail and interested in analytical and problem-solving skills. As an individual contributor committed to achieving the team’s goals. These skills include a talent for creative approaches to problem-solving and identifying innovative solutions to complex business challenges. My unwavering commitment to precision and thoroughness in any endeavor in which I participate drives my pursuit for excellence. I pride myself on my high standards for competency, results-orientation, and my engaging interpersonal skills. I work well in environments where seamless collaboration in a team environment and open-minded communication within cross-functional teams ensures success for clients, the organization, and my colleagues.

Carolina Beach Parks and Recreation Center 

• Manage the front handling and processing of new memberships as well as annual renewal, aiding in athletic program registrations, and explaining membership.
• Achieved an increase in membership sales of 69% from 2021 to 2022 by effectively communicating the benefits of a membership.
• Strategically promote and market events and programs to target audiences likely to show interest.
• Aid in the execution and marketing of facility events, including holiday events, dances, and fundraisers to generate a sense of community.                       

Carolina Beach Parks and Recreation Center 

• Planned and organized engaging and educational activities and events that combined a sense of adventure, fun and learning.
• Professionally and regularly engaged with caregivers and maintained an open line of communication to develop relationships.
• Provided a positive environment and cheerful disposition to promote camaraderie and personal growth among the children.
• Exemplified the spirit of teamwork by maintaining supportive interactions with fellow counselors.
•  And supervision of over thirty children from ages 6-15 to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in Business Administration with a concentration in Analytics. This is where i had mastered skills such as SQL for data extraction and manipulation with tools such as pivot tables, ‘R’ used for predictive analysis and visualizations, and Python for statistical analysis. Experienced in Tableau and PowerBI for data visualization and exploratory analysis. Had also gotten certified in Google Analytics and had took advantage of LinkedIn learning taking courses in both HTML5 as well as Salesforce.
