Worked with a research team to collect E-commerce product data for U.S. Customs in order to identify universal key parameters used to describe products. My role was to program automated web-scraping software to collect data from websites such as Amazon, eBay, and Craigslist. 

Automated the recording of 100’s of retail items per second, producing Excel data sheets with 1,000,000 items listed per website. 

Identified and procured instructions, documentation, & future development plans to enhance data by including API calls to track parcel data. 

Developed software to circumnavigate robot detection by dynamically changing the HTTP request headers and using alias IP addresses.
