UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCHER - Rohnert Park, CA Sonoma State University Jan 2022 - May 2023 

Developed and co-created an open-source project simulating quantum circuits, contributing to the advancement of quantum computing research and fostering innovation in the field. 
Co-authored a peer-reviewed abstract paper titled “QC.py: Quantum Computing Simulation and Visualization Suite” that was published in the ACM digital library. Presented the research findings at SIGCSE 2023, a prestigious international conference on computer science education held in Toronto, Canada. 
Collaborated closely with a team of two other talented undergraduates and an advisor, collectively working for over a year to transform a simple Python project into a comprehensive backend package with an ongoing frontend development. 
Engaged in regular team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to ensure project milestones were achieved.
