Ashley McGullion

My name is Ashley McGullion and I was born and raised here in Texas. I have a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from Sam Houston State University. Over the years, I have gained experience working with customer service in the veterinary field working as a veterinary technician and as a client service representative. I have also gained experience working with special education students at an independent school district. Because of my professional experience, I have obtained advanced skills in communication, planning,  behavior management, scheduling, customer service, and multi-tasking. After gaining these professional skills from the many fields I have worked in, it would allow me to be a great asset. 

In my professional work experience, I have worked professionally as a veterinary technician for over 7 years. I have worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years starting out as a kennel technician. After 3 years gaining experience working at various clinics as a kennel technician, I was promoted to a veterinary technician. After 6 years of working in the veterinary field, I decided to go back to school for music. At the end of my degree for music therapy, I left the veterinary field and I worked as a music therapy intern for Klein Independent School District from August 2021 to April 2022. In my internship, I worked with special education students at various schools in Klein ISD. The end of my internship is what conferred my degree.

I am obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Music therapy. My degree is conferred in my degree works and I graduate May 12, 2022.
