Ara Pridjian

I am a Vascular surgeon with years of experience in open and endovascular procedures, vein care, and dialysis access. I am RPVI certified to read vascular studies. Having retired from my full time position I am looking for a one to two week per month locum opportunity. 

I worked at Sparrow/University of Michigan Hospital in Lansing, MI as a Cardiovascular surgeon for 19 years. I was chief and medical director of Cardiac and Vascular Surgery for 11 years. For most of my time there I performed heart and vascular surgical procedures, but for the past two years focused on Vascular. 

I trained at the University of Michigan in Cardiovascular Surgery at a time when cardiac surgeons also did open vascular procedures. I embraced endovascular technologies and helped build a hybrid room at my previous hospital. I recently rounded out my Vascular education by getting RPVI certification.
