Long Term Care Ombudsman - Jan 2020 – Present Cleveland, Ohio

               Certified Ombudsman Specialist – Advocate for residents living in nursing homes, assisted living, group homes and who receive home based care services. Assist with facility selection. Investigate and resolve complaints. Work with facility management to insure quality care and treatment for residents. Educate and present information regarding residents’ rights and person-centered care.

               Social Media Lead – Handle social media for Long Term Care Ombudsman on Facebook and Linked In. Continually update website. Publish quarterly newsletter. Create content. 

               Grant Writing – Assist in writing grants for continued operations. Successful 2023 grant from Cleveland Foundation for $140,000 for RF2 training and Ombudsman position.

               Client Care Coordinator – Conducted home visits and periodic quality care reviews. Visited clients in their homes to evaluate satisfaction with services and update care plans.
