Anyela Bell
Healthcare
About Anyela Bell:
I have eight years of experience in various healthcare contexts. I have experience working with patients of all ages, from premature neonates to the geriatric population here in the RGV. Through my experience, I've developed a high degree of adaptability and acquired valuable knowledge. In May of 2019, I assisted at a rural health clinic in Cusco, Peru. I enjoyed providing care and resources to individuals in a foreign country. During the pandemic, I was a nurse serving in the COVID-19 facilities. As a consequence, my enthusiasm for public health was cultivated. The majority of our patients in South Texas are Hispanic or Latino, and a significant number of them speak Spanish as their primary language. I was afforded the opportunity to assist in the translation of relevant information concerning their welfare and to offer them the assistance they required during those uncertain periods. In February 2024, I completed my Masters of Public Health and am eager to find a position where I can apply my knowledge and experience to promote positive social change. |
