About Antonio Alfonso:

I am an RN with training program administration experience and am looking for opportunities to branch into other professional roles with a healthcare industry focus.

My nursing experiences include 20+ years in civilian and military hospitals, including Med-Surg, Observation, ER, Urgent Care, Inpatient, deployed war zone bedside, and preparation for air medical evacuation. My training management experiences include 10+ years of oversight with onsite classroom teaching and E-Learning program oversight for Basic Life Support (BLS)/Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS)/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification training and related program and instructor management, managing current and the creation of new Training Affiliation Agreements (TAAs) for civilian and military member medical training and Memorandums of Understandings (MOUs) for American Red Cross volunteer management in the military hospital and local high school student military medical career immersion experiences.

My Learning Management Systems (LMS) skills include 10 years’ experience in translating and updating written training policies to LMS configurations for auto-assignment of healthcare related computer-based training (CBTs), governance over student and reviewer roles, creating tools/processes to facilitate training compliance tracking, and regularly creating staff training compliance reports for department head, and C-level consumption, including annual department reports.

I am comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite products such as PowerPoint and Word. And have extensively used Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc., to analyze, prioritize, forecast, and manage staff or resources. I've also used those tools to author local LMS management instructions and report creation methods.

Other experiences include overseeing the monthly Medical Group Newcomer Orientation, user on/offboarding (within five LMSs), managing medical simulation labs for the DoD and a civilian college, managing maintenance contracts for high-fidelity medical simulators, authoring medical scenarios within the following medical simulator platforms: CAE, Laerdal, and Gaumard, and managing three staff members and up to seventy life support instructors.
