Anne Schorgl

My name is Annie Schorgl and I am a student at Kansas State University majoring in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations, and pursuing minors in Graphic Design and Leadership Studies. I hope to work in the Public Relations field someday and am excited to further my education in this environment.

Most recently, I have interned at Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy on the East Side of Kansas City, Missouri. Due to the first year of their opening being shut down halfway due to COVID-19, they needed assistance on their social media channels to reach potential donors and students at the school. My job included making graphics for social media, creating mailers to be sent out to parents and donors, and to be a channel of information to the general public. 

In May of 2023, I plan to graduate with a degree in Strategic Communications with minors in Leadership Studies and Graphic Design from Kansas State University. I am currently also applying to graduate schools for the Fall of 2023. The schools I am applying to are DePaul University, Belmont University, Boston University, and American University.
