I’m a passionate educator, tutor, and coach committed to helping students grow in and out of the classroom. With a strong foundation in finance and accounting, I bring a unique blend of analytical thinking and real-world experience to my work as a high school math teacher, private tutor, and athletic coach.

After years of serving in leadership roles in finance—including as a Controller and Executive Director of Business Services—I’ve transitioned into the world of education to make a more direct impact. My goal is to inspire confidence, build critical thinking skills, and help students succeed academically, athletically, and personally.

In addition to teaching and coaching, I continue to offer accounting and financial consulting services for businesses and entrepreneurs. Whether it's financial forecasting, budgeting, or process improvement, I enjoy helping organizations make data-informed decisions that support long-term success.

From the classroom to the field to the boardroom, I’m committed to mentoring others, solving problems, and creating meaningful results.

I am a versatile professional with experience spanning education, finance, accounting, and leadership. Currently, I serve as an ELD Math Teacher at Rincon High School and coach Varsity Girls' Golf at Rincon High School and Varsity Girls' Tennis at Sabino High School within the Tucson Unified School District. Before transitioning into education, I built a strong career in financial leadership as the Controller and Executive Director of Business Services at Wyatt Partners, LLC, where I oversaw full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, internal control development, and strategic planning for multiple healthcare organizations. I also worked as an Audit Associate at Grant Thornton (Cayman), conducting audits, risk assessments, and financial reviews for a diverse range of industries.

Earlier in my career, I worked as an Accountant II at the University of Arizona’s Department of Immunobiology, managing financial transactions, subaward payments, and reconciliations. I also served as a Plant Accountant II at Tucson Electric Power, where I handled capital asset management and construction reporting for Remote Generation assets. As a Business Systems Analyst I at the University of Arizona, I contributed to the Financial System Modernization Project and focused on business process improvements. In the Department of Neuroscience, I worked as an Accountant I, overseeing grant budgeting, employment transactions, and financial operations. I began my accounting career as an Accounting Specialist I with the University of Arizona’s Parking & Transportation Services. During my time as a student, I also interned at Deloitte & Touche (Cayman), where I supported projects in audit, international tax, forensic accounting, asset management, and strategic planning.

Academically, I hold a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship, a Master of Science in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, all from the University of Arizona. I am currently pursuing a Master of Education in Secondary Education at Grand Canyon University. In addition, I hold certifications including Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (HFMA), Certified Scrum Master, and QuickBooks Online Certification. I also serve on the Advisory Boards of QualityMD, Ayuda Health, and Callbotics, supporting innovative healthcare and technology initiatives. My professional strengths include financial management, internal controls, audit and compliance, educational leadership, and project management, supported by strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
