In his previous career as a Filmmaker and Filmmaking Educator, his skills involved leading crews and students to creatively problem solve within moment-to-moment unpredictability He wants to bring his ability to rally people and improvise through contingencies to the research and development of flexible, intuitive tools. As a writer/director/producer, he's had films screened at American Documentary Film Festival, New York No Limits Annual Film Summit, featured on NoBudge, Tribeca Film, and played at various other festivals.
He’s drawn to visualizing the bubbling drama, increasing absurdity, and flights of fancy lurking in everyday encounters. This may be due to growing up in rural Michigan.
