Currently coaching at Queens Rugby Club D3 level

I am passionate about set pieces, breakdowns, and pod work with forwards. My coaching philosophy focuses on high-intensity, detail-oriented drills that build strong, disciplined forward packs.

I played rugby for 14 years at the club level in Colombia and was a member of the Colombian national team for 8 years, always in the second row/lock position.

As a coach, I bring over a decade of experience:

10 years working with children and teenagers 

4 years as a forwards coach in Colombia’s top-level club competition ( Gatos Rugby Club )

3 years as the forwards coach for the Colombian XVs Women’s National Team (2019–2021)

1 year as the forwards coach for the Colombian XVs Men’s National Team (2022)

Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science – “ Programa profesional en Deporte”

A 10-semester ( 5 years ) professional program focused on sports training, physical preparation, coaching, sports administration, and applied research in sport. Completed in on-campus, full-time modality.
