Has hands-on experience working in labs for upper division classes, as well as numerous opportunities of collaboration with peers and members of the UC Berkeley staff.

Northwestern Memorial Hospital - Chicago, Illinois
- Worked in nephrology department with fellows and doctors in clinic, hospital, and dialysis rounds.
- Obtained valuable experience scribing medical records and learning how to use the Epic program to a satisfactory degree.
- Monitored patients one-on-one and built first contact communication skills in the process.
Shadow - July 2023
Sengkang General Hospital - Singapore, Singapore
- Established connections with doctors and medical staff in another country.
- Learned the workings of the emergency room and noticed the surprising differences and similarities between international medical facilities.
- Assisted a current medical resident with their duties.
- Toured and attended an executive meeting concerning the management of an urgent care center and saw how issues are dealt with on a higher level.
Volunteer – June 2023
Kaiser Permanente San Rafael Medical Center - San Rafael, California
- Mixture of volunteering and shadowing under multiple departments.
- Experienced night shift in emergency medicine and had opportunities to communicate with patients.
- Studied under and was guided by multiple pathology experts in analysis of multiple slide samples.
- Developed relations with the members of the radiology department, seeing the inner workings of a cardiac catheterization lab, as well as other scanning devices.
