I’m an author, editor, and ghostwriter with three research-driven books under my belt. As a ghostwriter, I help clients sound polished and unmistakably like themselves for memoirs, thought leadership, and other material. For more than 18 years, I’ve been telling focused, yet approachable (a.k.a. fun to read!) stories for top-tier outlets including Food & Wine, Front Office Sports, VinePair, Atlas Obscura, Forbes, Bloomberg, Saveur, InsideHook, SevenFifty, and more. I’m also a hands-on editor who knows how to coach writers, sharpen ideas, and turn good drafts into great reads. I help brands, founders, and publications turn complex ideas into well-presented pieces that actually get read. I still haven't found a lipstick that can withstand a Margarita with a salt rim.

Experience

I am an editor, creative copywriter, and memoir ghostwriter based in New York City with a specialty in writing clear, compelling copy. Clients who work with me are happy with my work because I’m responsive and deliver professional, informative-sounding material on a timely basis. 

I have written for numerous publications such as Front Office Sports, Bloomberg, Food & Wine, InsideHook, Forbes and many others. I helped launch Alcohol Professor, making it one of the most -read publications in the beverage space. I am the author of 3 notable, research-driven books, including Signature Cocktails (Phaidon) and New York Cocktails (Cider Mill Press). I have experience drafting press releases, professional bios, essays, blogs and other content, including as a ghostwriter. 

I have a knack for storytelling, whether that’s helping brands reach new audiences or sharing a personal narrative through memoir or short-form biographies. I believe reading about detergent should be as interesting as a poignant personal history.

I have a bachelor's degree in history from New York University, which required extensive library research and writing.
