Amanda Coogan

Hi, I'm Amanda! I am currently seeking employment in the retail, food service, or customer service industry. I am hard working, self-motivated, energetic, a fast learner, and love interacting with people. I have prior part-time experience in food and customer service roles. I have a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering and 3 years of experience in the R&D space, however I am currently taking a break to figure out the next steps in my professional career. In my free time I enjoy getting active and being outdoors, playing sports (running, any racket sport, kickboxing, biking, hiking, rollerblading, lifting), fashion and clothing, interior design, and food and nutrition; and hope to channel my interests into a fulfilling full time, part time, or seasonal position close to home (B'ville). I have 3 years of experience in the research and development space (pharmaceutical and medical device industries), approximately 2 years in the food service industry (Edible Arrangements and concession stand), worked part-time at a front desk of an office for a semester, and was a teaching assistant of a biomechanics and biomaterials lab for 2 semesters (~1 year total). I have volunteered as a new student orientation leader, peer mentor, tour guide, and open house volunteer. 

I have a bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering, with a minor in math and a concentration in biomechanics.
