Oversees and manages the assigned department including staff, education, quality control, quality assurance and the overall quality of lab test results. Provides on-site, telephone, or electronic support. Provides day to day supervision of personnel performing high complexity testing. Resolves technical problems and ensures remedial action is taken. Provides training to all testing personnel and evaluates competency assessment and observation of technical skills.

Executed validation efforts for multiple different assays including but not limited to Nail Fungal, Respiratory Pathogens, UTI/ABR, etc. Responsible for leading validation efforts in accordance with approved procedures, compilation of test results, organization of data, and maintenance of documentation pertaining to the validation. In charge of compiling validation reports that are in compliance with state and regulatory agencies for inspection.

Currently in my PhD program at The University of Miami for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Recent graduate from The University of Tampa with a Master's of Science and a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry.
