Hello! I'm Alvin Derek Tiletile, a data-driven problem solver and
team player with a background in computer science and experience in
data analytics. Currently, I'm a Data Analytics Captain at COOP
Careers where I lead a team of 16 apprentices and mentor them in their
professional development towards data analytics. I've also completed projects in exploratory
data analysis, data visualization, and client analysis, all of which
utilized my technical skills in Excel, SQL, and Tableau. I also have
earned certifications in Google Data Analytics and Google Analytics.

Outside of my data analytics experience, I've also demonstrated leadership
as a Section Close Leader at Trader Joe's by leading the closing for a
~$2.8M yearly section.

    Data Analysis: Launched a data-driven analysis project that visualized client data to increase overall conversion rates.
  • Constructed multiple data visualizations with Tableau that easily conveyed CPC of their advertisements, audience demographics, and website traffic of their advertisements.
  • Identified, resolved, and improved key areas in the presentation to clarify and highlight points that uncover insights in their data.
  • Coordinated with 13 other data analytics apprentices to present a project of 47 slides showcasing business insights and strategic action plans that improve audience reach.
  • Harmonized all work into one deck with the team to have a presentation that met client expectations.
    Data Visualization Project: Conducted a deep analysis of a 50K+ row dataset of San Francisco food safety violations.
  • Visualized data in Tableau by creating multiple visuals such as pie, bubble, bar, and heat map charts, as well as mapping data geographically by districts.
  • Generated all 10 pivot tables and categorized all 50K+ rows of data using VLOOKUP, allowing the team to dive deeper into analysis of the dataset.
  • Cleaned a dataset by utilizing filters to handle missing values, removing duplicates, deleting irrelevant data such as phone numbers, standardizing capitalizations, converting data types, and fixing simple errors.
  • Orchestrated a team of 4 data analytics apprentices to a prompt and successful completion of a project by aiding in the creation of all their data visualizations and slides.
