My name is Allison Janik and I am from Topeka, Indiana. I am graduating from Ball State University in May 2023 with a degree in Landscape Architecture and a minor in Historic Preservation. I am interested in pursuing jobs in relation to Landscape Architecture and/or Historic Preservation.

Experience

As of right now, I have had an internship from January 2022 to August 2022 at Context Design in Lawrence, Indiana (just outside of Indianapolis). At Context I worked on a wide array of job types, including education, residential, master planning, and playground design. I have learned a lot in regards to zoning ordinances, PUDs, and specifications.

Education

My most relevant education is with the Landscape Architecture and Architecture departments at Ball State University. I am finishing my undergraduate in Landscape Architecture and have utilized Architecture classes with emphasis in Historic Preservation.
