Aliyah Soliz

I currently work as a weekend caregiver and fell in love with it 1.5 years ago. I always took care of animals in need growing up. We lived in the boonies away from town so our animals reproduced frequently and often, and though it was a scary transition, it was one of the best I've made. My mind is service oriented and love to bring light to health and emphasis on why we should start as early as possible especially with our recent pandemic and personal life events. I am getting my CNA at the end of the year and plan to attend nursing school next year. 

I started in fast food and got my managers certification and transitioned to an assisted living facility. I left that position to continue my education, and got my current job as a weekend caregiver. 

My most relevant education was what I learned in the facility and at the weekend caregiver position. I plan to take a first aid class in the spring to be more useful in life and in the face of immediate emergencies.
