Alison Santoro

Hi, my name is Alison Santoro. I am currently a Dietitian Student at Brooklyn College working towards my degree in Health and Nutrition Sciences, B.S. and later working towards my master's degree. 

I worked at Shoprite for 8 years in many different positions. I worked in the produce department, managed the Order, Pickup and Deliver department, and currently work in the Computer Generating Ordering (CGO) department. In collaboration with Department Managers, ensure all merchandise is fully stocked, rotated in display cases, shelves and other applicable displays according to tag allocation and department standards 

In collaboration with Department Managers, ensure that featured sale merchandise is signed in accordance with Company and regulatory standards. 

Ensure all reports and records are accurate, complete and retained in accordance with Company policy 

In collaboration with CGO Coordinator and Store Management Team, ensure proper scheduling to meet projected sales and Customer Experience needs. 

Ensure the quality of all product and secure properly in appropriate storage areas 

Ensure the accuracy of item pricing, item locator and shelf allocation 

Complete and make appropriate decisions based on all applicable reports to ensure optimum profitability (i.e. load in-aisle audits for the day, commodity pack out reports, historically out of stock reports, zero movement reports and negative inventory reports) 

In collaboration with Department Managers, ensure returns, refunds, reclamation, in-store pricing, in-store transfers, and return-to-stock procedures are followed in accordance with Company policy. 

I received my high school diploma in 2016 at Tottenville High School. In the fall semester of 2024, I will get my Bachelor of Science at Brooklyn College. I'm currently working towards receiving my Bachelor of Health/Nutrition at Brooklyn College. Since attending Brooklyn College since Fall of 2023, I have been on the Dean's List twice with a cumulative GPA of 3.962.
