After 12 years of shaping minds as an educator across middle school, high school, and college levels, I am embarking on an exciting new chapter in the medical field. Teaching has given me a profound understanding of learning, communication, and mentorship—skills that I now bring to healthcare. My passion for guiding others through knowledge remains at the heart of this transition, but now with a focus on healing and patient care. Experience
Teaching at different educational levels has required a diverse set of skills tailored to the unique needs of students. As a middle school teacher, I learned that I must balance subject expertise with strong classroom management, as well as adapt lessons for younger learners and foster engagement and social development. As a high school teacher, I practiced to deepening content knowledge, preparing students for higher education or careers, and often incorporated critical thinking and mentorship. As a university teacher I focused heavily on subject mastery, research, and independent learning. I guided students through complex concepts and facilitated intellectual growth. Across all levels, communication, adaptability, patience, and instructional creativity were essential components of making an impact.
Education
With a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from the University of Missouri, I have built a strong foundation in diverse academic disciplines. Expanding my expertise into healthcare, I successfully completed a vocational course in sterile processing, ensuring proficiency in maintaining medical equipment and safety standards. Additionally, I am CPR certified and a certified phlebotomist, equipped with the skills to provide essential patient care and blood collection. My multidisciplinary background, combined with hands-on healthcare training, prepares me to excel in medical environments with precision and dedication.
