Aline Guimaraes

I have large experience, more than 10 years, teaching sociology, political science, and anthropology in many college degrees and post-graduation courses, from different areas in human, biological and exact sciences.

I have national and international experience in project design, data analysis, and evaluation methods for public policies and social projects.

As a researcher, I have publications in the field of Sociology and Political Science, with an emphasis on Institutional Analysis, working mainly on the following topics: social policies, social inequalities, evaluation of public policies, decentralization of public policies, the welfare state, political culture, and sociological theory.

As a professor, I have experience in undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of Sociology, Political Science, Methodology, and Public Policy Assessment.


 

PhD in Sociology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais - Brazil
Other backgrounds: Degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2003) and Masters in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2006).
