Alieu Daramy

I came to know social work as a professional career path through my passion for helping people and after completing my undergrad degree in youth ministry, I discovered the Master of Social Work - MSW graduate program at Howard University where I first learned about the vast intricacies of mental health and treatment for it. I passed the graduate level and later the clinical level board exams, both which enabled me to service clients at higher levels over the past 11 years.

Cognitive-behavior therapy, family systems approaches and mindfulness skill development are specialty areas of focus for me.

I prioritize making therapy work for clients in all settings by using person-centered and collaborative engagement which creates a supportive environment with steps consistently promoted to achieve agreed upon goals.
