Passionate and disciplined individual seeking a role as laboratory technician with  flexible availability. Have experience in graduate level laboratory courses. Took a job at Delicate Cosmetics as a QC/QA Coordinator. It was a family-owned cosmetic manufacturing company. It was a great experience, but I felt that the job did not fit with my degree, I had to do something to change course. I decided to try applying to the master’s program at CSUN. I was accepted and was excited to try something new. I took the courses needed and got a more hands on experience using different techniques like UV-Spectroscopy and FTIR. I worked with Dr. Mads Andersen in his environmental analytical lab. In the lab we utilize analytical chemistry and spectroscopy to investigate important kinetics on hazardous chemicals like chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). 

Research Assistant (California State University Northridge)      January 2020 – March 2023

• Utilized FTIR and UV Spectroscopy to investigate kinetics and mechanisms of reactions important in atmospheric and environmental chemistry.
• Prepared and implemented SOPs for FTIR and UV instrumentation.
• Documented work and maintained good laboratory records in notebooks and on controlled documentation.  
• Presented anesthetics research at 36th annual Informal Symposium on Kinetics and Photochemical Processes  in the Atmosphere (ISKPPA)
