• Responsible for triaging patients which includes interviewing regarding medical history and collecting vitals
• Perform routine laboratory tests such as strep tests, influenza tests, COVID-19 tests, and more
• Relay critical physicians’ instructions on patient treatment, procedures, medications, and/or diets

• Responsible for the management of crucial paperwork including faxing, filing, and scanning

At my previous job, PM Pediatrics of Massapequa Park, I worked as both medical receptionist and a medical assistant. I was able to learn how to professionally answer calls and route calls to the appropriate party. I now am experienced with knowing how to input, process, and bill a majority of health insurances. Lastly, I was able to learn how to fax, file, and scan important PHI. As medical assistant I was responsible for triaging patients and performing laboratory testing. I worked with this company a little under two years. 

Attended The Pennsylvania State University and graduated in May of 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health.
