Experience
In addition to my experience writing during my tenure at USC I have had experience working as an intern at an agency, a production company, and a management company. At the talent agency, Suite-A Talent Agency, I gained knowledge working within the industry and had a valuable introduction to working within an entertainment office setting as the office was small and I had the opportunity to be more active in the office than in a bigger internship.
I further learned about how people in the industry get projects made into movies at my talent management internship for Untitled Entertainment. Aside from getting valuable experience with script coverage, this internship showed me the importance of managers within the industry and that one should write for every single piece of talent attached to the film, not only producers, but actors as well.
I upped my interning with more prestigious companies working as an office intern at Mosaic Media Group and Rideback Entertainment In both of the companies, I was responsible for covering scripts and general office duties; following through with phone logs, copy editing pitch documents for submission, covering desks, and helping organize office events.
I solidified all of my experiences and knowledge writing at school when I got hired with my peers as contract content contributors for Cloud10 Podcasting. We helped organize the dynamic ad reads, took care of guest’s needs, and were able to navigate and produce our own content in this very new medium. We got to write, pitch, and edit audio dramas for the company.
Education
I graduated from USC in the screenwriting division. Throughout my tenure, I produced three pilots and two features that were workshopped in a class of my peers and industry professionals. I got to create a pitch deck for an animated series with original art and pitch it to multiple production companies.
