Alejandro Gonzalez Rafael

I am passionate about learning about how the world operates. I studied philosophy at Berkeley, which allowed me to learn about how to ask the correct questions and how to seek the correct answers. I learned to navigate tasks with the collaboration of others, but also independently. I enjoy the perspective of others, since it allows us to understand their personal view and values. The world operates around meaningful social connections, thus is important to learn about others. I possess the necessary skills to adapt in dynamic environments, which helps me connect with others.    

I enjoy balancing with life, with things that are meaningful. I take pleasure in reading and spending time with loved ones. I lived 9 years of my life outside the US, which were foundational on the way that I behave as a person. I have learned to appreciate the small things in life, as long as I have people that I can share that with. I take great pride in my work and the work of others. I like to learn about others, but I also like that others like to learn about my interests. I enjoy reading about science and history, because it provides insight in to what we can achieve with the help of others.  

• In High School I worked for a while in Jack in the Box.
• Worked in Diablo Valley College during the time I studied there, worked for a year as Student Leader in the PUMA Center.
• Currently I have worked as a Barista for Starbucks for the past 3 years.

• Associate Degree in Philosophy from Diablo Valley College.
• Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Califronia, Berkeley.
